Grandma’s
magical island is the prefect place for a holiday. When the summer is
over, Sammy doesn’t want to leave. After one last excursion to find the
biggest, juiciest blackberries on the island, Sammy helps his grandma make
jam. Why does she call it “bottled sunshine”? Sammy doesn’t really
know, but the warm jars of jam seem to glow, all right. When Sammy returns
home, he puts a jar of the bottled sunshine on his shelf and promptly
forgets about it.... Internet Links : The Web sites we have listed here will help you to learn more about the people and places in the book. Parents and Teachers: Please see the "Resources for Teachers" page for more information about the teacher guide. |
